Following are the use cases for Vitals360®.

Collection of vital signs. The Vitals360® can function as a point of care device that replaces the Cart On Wheels (COW) commonly used in hospitals to take patient vitals. Vitals360® can also function as a point of care device in the ER, clinics, surgery centers, urgent care or any other setting where you need vitals and do not have to provide continuous monitoring

Workflow

Select Patient using 1 of the following 3 methods.

  • Select from a patient list (Appointments, Hospital Unit, etc..)
  • Enter unique identifier
  • Scan unique identifier

Display patient demographics
Confirm displayed patient is correct
Perform Vitals
Upload readings
Return to select patient

Remote patient monitoring (RPM). The Vitals360® can function as a remote patient monitoring device that replaces the cellular modem/WiFi, the tablet and multiple connected devices.

Workflow

Assign the Vitals360Ⓡ to a patient in the RPM software using the unique device ID.

  • Perform vitals
  • If connected then upload readings
  • If not connected then store readings and upload when reconnected

Telehealth. The Vitals360® can function as a telehealth device that replaces the cellular modem/WiFi, the tablet and multiple connected devices.

Workflow

Assign the Vitals360® to a patient in the telehealth software using the unique device ID.

  • Request patients to take vitals.
  • When vitals complete upload to EHR.
  • Start video End video

Point of Care Connected. The Vitals360® can function as a vital signs collection device that stores basic demographic information and vital signs in a cloud database. In this mode the Vitals360® is not dependent on any other database. This is the current Harris cloud application. It might be used for health screenings

Workflow

Select patient from the patient list.

  • Display patient demographics.
  • Confirm displayed patient is correct.
  • Perform Vitals.
  • If connected upload readings.
  • If not connected store readings and upload when connected.
  • Return to select patient

Standalone mode. The Vitals360® can take vital signs in a standalone mode. In this mode the Vitals360® functions as a replacement for many discrete instruments. A provider may use the Vitals360® in this mode when there is a need for the readings but no need to preserve a record of the readings.

Workflow

  • Measure desired vital signs.
